Lyra Dance Companies

The Lyra Dance Companies were formed with a focus on performance as a means of sharing the love of Christ.

Our mission is to perform with the highest personal integrity and artistic credibility in order to best reflect the light of our Savior. We promote community involvement by performing or volunteering at local community events.

Lyra Dance Company (formerly Timbrel Dance Company) is composed of dancers 12-18 who have a heart for service and faithful artistic expression. We strive to be a light of truth in a industry where many dancers know little of Christ or aren’t aware that it is possible to represent his love through art.

Lyra II is for dancers 10 and up who are looking to grow and reach, personally and artistically. They strive to share their gifts with others and get excited about dancing for our Creator, as well as preparing for Lyra Dance Company.

Lyra Apprentice is made up of young dancers, ages 6 – 9, who love to dance and share the joy of Christ. The journey of faith and artistic expression starts early and Lyra Apprentice students seek to grow and mature in both.
